Jinlong Gong

Jinlong Gong was born in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. He received B.S. (2001) and M.S. (2004) degrees from Tianjin University and a Ph.D. (2008) degree from the University of Texas at Austin (with C. B. Mullins), all in chemical engineering. He was a visiting scientist at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in 2007. After a stint with Professor George M. Whitesides as a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard University, he joined the faculty of the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology at Tianjin University, where he currently holds a Cheung Kong Chair Professorship. Professor Gong is the Provost of Tianjin University.

巩金龙,天津大学化学工程与工艺专业学士(2001年)、硕士(2004年),美国德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校化学工程专业博士(2008年),美国哈佛大学George Whitesides实验室博士后。现任天津大学北洋讲席教授、化工学院博士生导师,天津化学化工协同创新中心团队负责人(PI),天津市“131”创新型人才团队负责人,天津市能源化工国际联合研究中心主任,绿色合成与转化教育部重点实验室副主任;国家首批“万人计划”入选者、国家杰出青年基金获得者、教育部长江学者特聘教授、国家重点研发计划项目(基础前沿类)首席科学家、英国皇家化学学会Fellow(FRSC)。

主要从事多相催化、能源化工应用基础研究,在固体表面物理化学、多相催化模型体系和多相催化原位动态研究方法等方面取得系统研究进展。利用表面科学分子束溅射技术及同位素实验,探测金模型催化剂分子(原子)层面上的物理和化学性质;提出了金晶体表面一氧化碳、氨气、丙胺及低碳醇类选择性氧化的反应机理,探讨了水和氧物种的活化历程;开发了制备具有超强表面增强拉曼光谱效应的金纳米结构的新技术;明确了金属纳米粒子-氧化物界面的低碳醇、烷烃脱氢界面反应机理,发展了氧缺陷控制氧化物表面羟基反应性能的概念;阐述了半导体氧化物纳米晶晶面依赖的表面物理化学和光催化行为。先后主持国家重点研发计划项目、国家自然科学基金委重点项目、国际合作项目、科技部863项目10余项。在Nature CommunJ Am Chem SocAngew Chem Int EdAIChE JAdv MaterChem RevAcc Chem ResChem Soc RevNano LettEnergy Environ Sci等国际期刊上发表论文200余篇,被引用10000余次;申请美国、中国发明专利65项,其中36项已获授权。研究成果40余次被Chemical & Engineering NewsNature China等国际新闻媒体、科学杂志遴选为研究亮点报道;研究论文50余次被JACSAngew Chem Int EdAdv MaterChem Soc RevAcc Chem ResEnergy Environ SciChem CommSmallNanoscale等期刊选为封面论文刊登。曾获天津市自然科学一等奖(2017年,排名第一)、高等学校科学研究优秀成果奖—青年科学奖(2016年)、天津市青年科技奖(2016年)、第六届侯德榜化工科学技术奖——创新奖(2014年)等科技奖励。
